Sara Montani is a young animator and illustrator from Bergamo, passionate about miniature worlds and dreamlike atmospheres. She honed her talent at the Maryland Institute College of Art in the USA, where she earned a degree in animation and illustration with a specialization in stop motion in 2019.
Her work focuses on exploring narratives, sensations, and emotions through atmospheric colors, blending digital and traditional textures. Thanks to her interest in stop motion, Sara has increasingly incorporated unconventional objects and mixed media techniques into her illustration and animation projects.
Her primary focus is to engage the audience by creating evocative experiences through the atmospheres and materiality of her works. She enjoys playing with light, volumes, and fluid shapes.
