Born in Bergamo in 1959, he began working as a freelance illustrator for local advertising agencies in 1975. In 1980, he met Bruno Bozzetto, with whom he collaborated on various animation projects, both in advertising and scientific fields—most notably for Piero Angela's QUARK series.
During the same period, he established a productive partnership with the post-production studio Universal Video Corporation, creating not only commercial productions but also animated opening sequences for RAI programs.
Since 2010, he has been engaged in videomapping projects on building facades. His first works in this field were showcased during Notti di Luce on the facade of the Chamber of Commerce and simultaneously on the facade of Santa Maria Maggiore in Città Alta, Bergamo.
