Pietro Vitali (Lecco, 1994) is an artist living and working between Bergamo and Milan.
His research navigates the intersection between the natural world and human sphere, exploring the conflicts and regenerations that emerge from this encounter through a taxonomic perspective.
Drawing from scientific sources, he investigates these hybridizations, highlighting the tendency of both natural and artificial processes to replicate in twin-like forms, ultimately allowing them to exist in an autonomous dimension.
His aesthetic expression is the result of constant cross-contamination between sculpture and drawing. Techniques such as casting, excavation, and exhumation interact with the natural decay of materials, leading to unpredictable results that balance between conscious modeling and uncontrolled transformation.
